INSTRUCTION

Project 1: Landing Page Design
In this project, we are to create a landing page to promote either for a existing service, an existing brand or a specific existing product, we could also come up with our own brand, service or product. I chose to promote the Chuck's Self Love For All Honey Cream, which is from Chucks.co, founded by Jane Chuck. So basically, I'm creating a product detail landing page.

1. Wireframe Sketches
Instead of showing wireframe sketches, I started with the design. However, Mr. Tarmizi said it was fine because it showed the concept of my proposed landing page. I loved the look of rounded edges on pages as it looks very visually-appealing. It saves space and they draw attention to the content and not the component.

FEEDBACK

Week 6
Specific Feedback: Thank you for your sketch submission, basically sketch or wireframe doesn’t need to be in actual colour or having actual product in place. That is reserved for final design. However have shown the concept of your proposed landing page, and I’m looking forward to your landing page design submission next week.

REFLECTION

Experience
This project was really fun as I'm slightly interested in UI design. It was fun to put together the "wireframing" although I didn't really sketch the wireframe, but I know how I was going to put together the landing page design in my mind. I'm very thankful for Mr Tarmizi for always replying to my emails (I sent a lot of them) and giving me constructive feedbacks for me to improve, amend and work on.

Observation
I observed that I should've did the wireframe sketch in the beginning so I had more things to document, and also have a piece of the process instead of jumping straight to design.

Findings
I found that there were so many things to consider while designing a landing page for a product, what design will it be, how is the page going to cater to a certain demographic, is it user friendly and etc. So one thing to keep in mind is to always have initial sketches, no matter what.
