INSTRUCTIONS

EXERCISES

Exercise 1: Quantifiable Information (10%)
We are to quantify (count) our chosen items and arrange the objects into a presentable layout or chart. Information must be presented as is. Keep it simple, present the information as clear as possible and as interesting as possible.

The object that I quantified are coins from my piggy bank. I kept it simple and drew a piggy bank to show that the coins belong in my piggy bank.

Location / Alphabet / Time / Category / Hierarchy

We are to organize a group of information into a visual poster that combines and utilizes minimum of 4 LATCH principles. We are required to use a digital photo editing or illustration software available to construct the LATCH poster.

Requirements:

FEEDBACK

Week 1
"That's cute!"

REFLECTION

Before even enrolling into this course, I already have a board dedicated to infographics in Pinterest. Something about infographics are fun to look at. So, when I realized that creating an infographic was part of our projects, I was excited. The thought of it might be easy but when it comes to action, it isn't as easy as I thought. For infographics, you have to present information, data and knowledge quickly and clearly so I had to be mindful of how and what I present in the infographic.
